Climb

I've understood the importance of money from a young age. Being that our parents divorced at a young age, me and my sister had to grow up pretty fast. That meant more responsibility, more stress, and most of all, more money problems. My parents worked their asses off to put me and my sister in great schools so we could have better opportunities than they had. But being surrounded by private school kids can feel overwhelming when your dad picks you up from school in his 2005 Buick La Sabre with "Brian Bunce Barbers" written on each side. They used to think he was a taxi driver. So, at a young age, I would try and hide that side. I would stay at my dad’s house for most of my childhood, but I would never invite my friends over. Looking back, I don't exactly know why. Maybe because it was more comfortable at my mom’s? But with that comfort came less familial connection. I felt far more connection living in with my dad. So, what does that tell you? When you feel fulfilled in life, money can enhance your experience. But when you aren't fulfilled, money can actually hurt you.
